The Trustees of the FRIENDS OF FIJI HEART FOUNDATION are Dr. Parma Nand (Cardiothoracic Surgeon), Dr Vinod Singh (Consultant Physician), Bhupendra C. Patel (Barrister), Ambedh Sharma (Businessman), Vinod Kumar (Businessman), Naveen Prakash (Accountant), Deepak Tahal (Businessman), Kirit Patel (Bank Manager), Jayant Patel (Businessman) and Deepak Singh (Senior Trade Broker).


The FRIENDS OF FIJI HEART FOUNDATION members are former Fiji residents and are currently living in Auckland. The Trustees believe that an annual project to provide free heart operations will contribute to extending the life expectancy of needy patients. The FRIENDS OF FIJI HEART FOUNDATION annually raises funds in New Zealand and outside of New Zealand to send a team of volunteer specialists doctors and nurses to Fiji to perform this operation in Fiji.
